What to expect at your first visit.
Here is what happens at your first appointment, so you know what to expect before you arrive.
Step 1
AI posture analysis & spinal scan
Our AI posture analysis checks your posture for imbalances from head to hips, then a thermographic spinal scan shows where your muscles are working harder than they should. It is quick and painless.
Step 2
Consultation
A one-to-one chat with your chiropractor about your health history, what you are feeling and what you would like to get back to doing.
Step 3
Physical assessment
Simple movement and range-of-motion tests show how your body is moving today, so your chiropractor can decide whether an adjustment is right for you.
Step 4
Chiropractic adjustment
If it is clinically safe, your chiropractor makes gentle, controlled adjustments by hand or with a small instrument. A “pop” sound is normal; it is just gas being released from the joint.
Step 5
Charged separately
X-ray, if needed
If your chiropractor needs a closer look, you may be referred for an X-ray. When it is done with one of our partner clinics, we go through the results with you at your next visit at no extra charge.

How much is the first visit at Healing Hands City Hall?
Your first chiropractic visit is $80 when you book through our mobile app, valid for peak and off-peak slots. If you book online, it is $80 for off-peak slots and $120 for peak slots (usual price $253). Off-peak is weekdays before 6pm; peak is weekdays after 6pm and weekends.
These rates are for first-time patients and patients who have not visited in the past year, at all locations except Clinical Director services.
What happens at my first visit?
Your 45-minute first visit starts with an AI posture analysis and a spinal scan, followed by a one-to-one consultation with a chiropractor, an adjustment if it is clinically suitable, and a report of findings.
What are the opening hours at City Hall?
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 10:30am to 1:30pm and 2:30pm to 8:00pm. Thursday: 9:00am to 1:30pm and 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Saturday: 9:00am to 1:00pm and 1:30pm to 4:30pm. Friday, Sunday & Public Holidays: Closed.
Can I book Stretch Therapy or Shockwave Therapy at City Hall?
Yes. Both are available at this clinic. New patients pay $50 for Stretch Therapy (a 30-minute stretch plus a 15-minute consultation) or for Shockwave Therapy.
